Who is Mistress Ruby Noir
Parisian-born. Former model. Scholar.
Tantric practitioner. Somatic movement facilitator.
Ruby Noir is the Domina at the heart of Shadow Realms.
At 25, I left modeling to pursue a Master's at NYU, while moonlighting as a dominatrix and stripper in New York's underground scene, until a tragic but predictable health crisis put my whole identity structure up for review.
I left New York and went looking for new ways of being.
Yoga opened the first doors for me. Tantra and embodiment took me further, deepening my understanding of sexual energy, health, relational dynamics, containment, and power. After many years in Southeast Asia, where I immersed myself in tantric practice, cleansing rituals, and temple pilgrimages, I decided to return to the city.
Ruby Noir emerged from a life spent crossing worlds. I bring together eroticism, embodiment, psychological inquiry, movement, tantra, and BDSM to create experiences that invite you beyond the version of yourself you already know.
The journey begins when you enter my world.
What you discover there is yours to take into the rest of your life.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Meet yourself at the edge
Shadow Realms lives at the edge of what you desire and what you find difficult to meet. It’s a body-based philosophy for exploring the relationship between desire, power, embodiment, and the unconscious.
Its practices draw from BDSM, Tantra, Jungian thought, and somatic movement.
Through personal mentorship and in-person experiences guided by Domina Ruby Noir, you can discover what it means to work with your Erotic blueprint. Through this work, you begin to uncover what lives beneath the versions of yourself you have learned to perform.
Eroticism is as complex as the human psyche itself.
It reveals where you grip, where you numb out. Where you escape into fantasy, where you disconnect and what your body requires to reconnect.
When that energy is online... you can’t hide.
Not from me, and not from yourself.
This is where the real work begins.
